Ode to Moto Market

Very simply, I would thank everyone who has ever walked thru Moto Market's doors.  But more specifically the ones who touched me and changed me for the better.  Some of you know who you are, others may not, but obviously there are far too many to mention.  The two people who I do want to specifically mention, the two who made it all possible, are Paul and Susanne.  Without them, Moto Market would not exist and I would never have met and experienced so much with so many of you!  And of the four thousand or so names in Moto Market's customer database, I have helped a good percentage, but I'm sure at least that same percentage has helped me back in some way.  Whether or not you realise it, or think you did not, you in fact helped me in some way.  I learned an immense amount about myself and about others in my six plus years at Moto Market.  It was an incredible experience and you, the customers, are the ones who made it for me.  I appreciated your patience with me in the tough times when I was not at my best, specifically this past year.  I appreciated your understanding of the difficulties in dealing with a small business like Moto Market, specifically over the last two years.  But most importantly, I appreciated you allowing me to be me.  I fed off of you and will miss the living, breathing place that is Moto Market.  The place that would not exist without you, the customers, the friends, the community that is Moto Market!  I hope this community remains for years to come and allows me to visit as I broaden my horizons, literally and figuratively!  So in these tough times, and in my final act of salesmanship as a Moto Market employee, I beseech you to support Moto Market in whatever way possible, whether it's visiting for coffee more often, or buying a $2,000 Dainese one-piece suit.  Moto Market needs your support in order to remain there for you.  I myself will be supporting Moto Market in a different way.  I am moving on to become the District Sales Manager in the East for Dainese/agv and will obviously try to take care of my main and favorite account in the Boston area as best as I can.  I look forward to seeing you all when I can on European Bike Nights, Scooter Nights, and the occasional Saturday or Sunday!

Sincerely and Thankfully,

Allan
